I’ve mentioned in other places that I think us special needs parents need to make sure that we take care of ourselves now and again, lest we go absolutely crazy.

And so, I’m going to step away for a few days.

For those who remember, my wife took her own “break” a few months ago – see my entries on the matter from November.  While she dashed off to Las Vegas, I was here with the kids and juggling work and them for a few days.

By the time you all read this, I’ll be on my way to my curling tournament in upstate New York for the weekend.  It’s four days that I’ll be gone, and then I’ll be back to entertain you all with more stories about the goings-on here.
